Our parents, upon retiring, moved to this area in the 1980's. Over the years Dad has occasionally come geocaching with us in the local area, loving the drive and the search. However, now in his 90's, he is a bit challenged by distance and terrain so we have to carefully pick the caches we take him to.
We decided to create an easy access cache for him. He chose this site as it's very accessible for those geocachers who can't walk very far or are a bit unsteady on their feet. It has a very safe and expansive parking area, which is usually fairly quiet (unless the surf is up!). If you like a longer stroll, this is a good starting point for an easy walk over to Hope Beach.
