The Great Trail consists of 24,000 kms of multi-use trails which connect and stretch across Canada from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island and up to the Northwest Territories. It is truly our trans Canada trail and apparently 4 out of 5 Canadians live within 30 minutes of it. The New Tecumseth section is covered with pea gravel and skirts beautiful farmland. No motorized vehicles are allowed so enjoy walking, biking, skiing or snowshoeing along this great trail.
