From Cache Number 7, keep walking along the river footpath to this one. (Walk over the bridge)You are looking for a small/micro camo bison container. Its a twist top! Over the field on your left you will see Hautbois Acitivity Centre and grounds.
Today, you can visit and stay at Hautbois House. The house was renovated after being left to guiding and now has 11 bedrooms, mostly ensuite, sleeping up to 59 guests over two floors. The bedrooms are named after the 12 counties that make up the Girlguiding Anglia Region. These are Oxfordshire, Lincolnshire South, Suffolk, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire West, Cambridgeshire East, Norfolk (photo included showing view from the room), Essex West, Essex South East, Essex North East and Bedfordshire. Other room names include Patteson (activities room) and Salhouse Showers!
The headquarters of Girlguiding Anglia is at Region office, along the road from Hautbois House. Of course, people do not just stay at the house. Reedcutters’s Village, assembled from shepherd’s huts is popular, and the camping facilities have capacity for 300 people! There are over 25 activities on-site for people to have a go at. The house has many fascinating features for visitors to explore.
