This cache is a large camo wrapped container. There is a slight bit of walking through weeds/unmoved grass to reach the site. Not wheelchair accessible.
Deep Creek flows south from Clairemont and through the City of Snyder. Then flows south where a branch of Deep Creek breaks off and flows to the east. This eastward flowing branch is shallow and makes twists and turns through farm and ranch country, crosses under Highway 208 and continues towards Hermliegh. When people first started moving into the area one settler found himself stranded near this location when Deep Creek flooded and dumped a deluge into this shallow branch. Later he commented that the flood waters, brush and debris from upstream made the sound like "Hell A'roaring" as it pushed through the twists and turns of the often dry creek bed.
