Meet up Saturday afternoon for an Oktoberfest Community Celebration co-hosted by steve.n.erin and rocksusan at the 370 Lakeside Park! Bring a drink and a snack, bring your geocaching stories and goals for the rest of 2021.
Let's celebrate Oktoberfest with an outside meet and greet at 370 Lakeside Park in St. Peters. Just like last month's event, the posted coordinates are near the floating dock “marina”. It’s a great place to hang out. The dock has a roof over half of it and a beautiful view of the lake. There are tall tables and chairs under cover and picnic tables on the uncovered half. There is plenty of space to spread out.
Come anytime between 3:30 and 5:30. The event is mostly rain or shine -- we will cancel only if there is severe weather in the area. Be sure to post a "will-attend' log so that you can receive announcements regarding the weather and any updates to our final location.
You CAN bring food or drinks of any variety, however NO GLASS IS ALLOWED.
Note: this area cannot be reserved. It’s usually not crowded, but just in case we plan to be flexible and hang around nearby, or walk a short distance to the VERY large pavilion at the alternative waypoint. Also, while there are pleanty of places to sit, bringing a folding chair in your car just in case might not be a bad idea.
