After taking a year off from this "tradition", I decided to use my Community Celebration Event to start it up again!
September 20th is National Pepperoni Pizza Day. Pizza is so popular in the USA that there is a National Pizza Day (in February) and a National Cheese Pizza Day (also in September); but I am choosing to celebrate the one that also celebrates my favorite topping! I love it so much, this is the 3rd time I am doing this event!
This outdoor event will take place from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM. This event is BYOC (bring your own chair) and BYOP (bring your own pizza) and will be located on the grassy area across from a place where you can get something to eat if you choose to do so. So, come on down and sign the log, say hello and maybe exchange a few trackables. You do not have to purchase anything to attend this event. You don't even have to eat any pizza! But, for anyone who is interested, you are responsible for your own purchase.
I will also be handing out some round, metallic souvenirs to event participants that sign the log. These little items are about the size of a quarter and were made specifically for this day. Any geocacher who signs the log will get one, so hope to see you there!
