Where: Kiwanis Picnic Area
Date: Saturday, August 14, 2021
Time: 1:30 - 3:30 pm
It's time for Red Deer to have another Community Celebration event. Come on down to the Kiwanis Picnic Area where there will be a few picnic tables and I'll have a fire going. Feel free to bring your own hot dogs or anything that you would like to cook over the fire. I recommend bringing your own chairs to make sure there's enough room for everyone.
You can park in one of the three nearby parking lots or if you're feeling like a relaxing float/kayak down the river then I highly recommend that way as well. You can get on the river at Fort Normandeau and get out right at the event. I've done this quite a few times and it's a great section of the river.
I've included waypoints for two of the parking lots and for the boat launches at Fort Normandeau and at the event.
Please register for this event by logging your Will Attend with the number of people in your group.
If you are feeling ill on the day of the event, please stay home.
