Geocache Description:

14 March 2021, 11:00 - 14:00

The Manawatu Geocachers’ Club hasn't met for a while. Let's fix that!

There are many occasions to celebrate during the geek calendar. Star Wars day, Towel day, Mario day, and my personal favourite, Pi day!
And what would a Pi Day event be without Pie?!?

You are all invited to my 127.0.0.1 for a pot-luck lunch of Pie.
But what will people bring to share? Shepherd's Pie? Cossack Pie? Potato Top? Bacon and Egg? Steak and Kidney? Or maybe @AtomsNZ's amazing Chicken and Chilli Pie that I still remember from one of StarDust718's previous Pie Day events?
And don't forget dessert! Pumpkin? Apple? Lemon Meringue? Banoffee?

Let your recipe books (or your supermarket) run wild and join us for some fellowship over some food.

EtherLady and I will provide some cutlery and paper plates, but feel free to bring your finest enamel if you'd prefer.
Some soft drinks, etc, will also be supplied. Bring your favourite beverage if you'd like to share.

What? Pot-luck Pie Lunch.

Who? The Manawatu Geocachers’ Club (and anyone else who wants to join us)

When? Sunday March 14, 2021 from 11am

Why? It’s pi day and we like to celebrate numbers.

We look forward to seeing you all again laugh

COVID restrictions:

At the time of submitting this event, the Manawatu is currently in Alert Level 1, which does not restrict events with the number of people that I would expect to attend.
I will have a COVID QR code available to scan at our front door, and hand sanitiser available, but please do not attend if you are not feeling well.

As we have seen this year, Alert Levels can change quickly.
I will consider this closer to the time, and update the event listing as required.

PS, the Snake/"Dangerous Animals" attribute is a reference to my delightful children. I love them dearly, but at the time of writing, they are driving me up the wall...
