I've never gotten to a CITO event; so here my chance. And here is your chance too!
THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE OUTDOOR EVENT
EVENT CACHE to celebrate the 20th Anniversary, the Central Jersey Way, by walking along the Raritan Bayshore and picking up some litter :)
Event tables will be set up at both the Laurence Harbor boardwalk entrance and the Cliffwood Beach Waterfront Park locations. ..If IT's RAINING , event will be in Mordenpool's Subaru Outback at Laurence parking lot OR Ericles' geocar at the Cliffwood parking lot....( see waypoint coords )
HERE'S TO TWENTY YEARS!
All are welcome. Trashbags will be available at both ends for your CITO cleanup efforts. Bring your trash to us, and perhaps get a prize! BRING YOUR WORK GLOVES.
We have 20th Anniversary coin trackable to give out to the first 10 people who hand in a "filled" trash bag.
The event is a "dash n' go " Style , due to Covid 19 , no one will have to gather or linger at the event areas long , unless you want to , you may just grab an apple cider donut and then head off up the trail for the CITO work and caches along the trail ....
This will be outdoors so dress appropriately for the weather on the day. ( fingers crossed for no rain , as event is rain or shine, Bring rain gear )
*Bring a chair if you need to or would like to , as there is no seating available at either GZ .
No purchase is required to attend.
*If you bring trackables to trade, please make sure they have been taken before you leave; retrieve them to keep and place in caches later.
Attendees will be expected to follow all current guidelines around social distancing and mask use.
* If you cannot follow these guidelines, please do not attend.
