The original version of this cache was next to llamas. I remember, one of them was named MIKE.
So we had surfin' on one side, and Llamas on the other side. Hence SURFIN' SAFARI.
This is the 4th incarnation of this cache. This one is NOT (I repeat, NOT) down the trail to the beach. The nearby neighbor has made it clear that he does not like having a cache near his house. Even on a public path.
So I've slightly moved the cache...again.
Think of this hide as sort of like a multi. when you are at the published coordinates, turn around 360 dgees, and you will see a staircase going down to dry land, on the side away from the ocean. Signs on the staircase make it seeem like you can go down there, no problem... so ... go down the stairs to the very bottom. The cache is hidden on your left and should be very easy to find - especially with the hint.
