Geocache Description:

Cache #1 in a mini-series of Geocache placed around Westbury. These caches are all placed next to signs that were added in 2019, welcoming drivers into the town.

The location of this cache has drastically changed in the past couple of years, the new housing estate has been erected and the roundabout has joined it to the main road. At the time of publishing, the area is still in the process of been built. However, it is looking (for the most part) quite nice.

Hopefully this series will help put some life into caching in Westbury, we have lost a number of caches over the past few years so hopefully this will encourage people to attempt some of the other geocache Westbury has to offer

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, the journey or location, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or "copy and paste" logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.

Accessibility

Just to confirm, the cache site should be easily accessible for all, including wheelchair users. Some may struggle, but its low height and relatively low resistance surface "underfoot" means there shouldn't be many (if any) issues.

This cache was originally placed and maintained by Jamie2791 from September 2020 - December 2023. The cache was adopted by KieranVC15 in December 2023.
