Vernal pools are seasonal depressional wetlands. They are covered by shallow water for variable periods from winter to spring., but may be completely dry for most of the summer and fall.
This hide is located in Smithfield's Windsor Castle Park. It is an easy grab just off the walking trail. There is a designated parking area nearby.
Should be an easy find. The name of the hide is a direct clue to it's wherabouts. Windsor Castle Park is a very busy place. Please use stealth as you will be visible by anyone who might be walking the trails.
This park is open Dawn to Dusk.
NOTE: Bicycles are NOT ALLOWED on the walking/hiking trails in Windsor Castle Park.
