Seeing on how scarce geocaches are on this stretch of the Florida Trail I decided to give it some love.
The only thing you will find at the Question mark is a fork in the trail (and some pretty deer moss).
Now on the Eglin AFB reservation there are numerous rusting relics of the U.S. Military that have been brought to the attention of many geocachers who have placed caches near those relics.
A F-86 Sabre (In Plane Site (GC199NQ)
I do not know what to call it other than a troop transport (CODE 9(GC5YNMN))
An abandoned railroad carriage (End of the Line (GC26M9W)) and (Rollin' of the B&F(GC4W38N))
A F-102 Delta Dagger (Just plane Crazy(GC674D7))
And last but not least a M-26 Pershing Heavy Tank (Tanks for the Cache(GC3BMJQ))
also another cool military relic from the days of training for the Dolittle raid (ORGT: Rocky Bayou State Park (GC55W4H))
However, to find this cache you must know a little about 4 of these items and/or events
N 30 AB. CDE
W 86 FG. HIJ
AB= 680-(max speed (in MPH) of a F-86 Sabre)
CDE= 1311- (max speed (in MPH) of a F-102A Delta Dagger)
FG=144-(the diameter of the main gun on a M-26 Pershing)
HIJ=42607-(the day of the Dolittle Raid)

This cache is located on the Eglin AFB reservation. Hunters and or wild life may be in this area as well as military personnel conducting maneuvers. It is possible unexploded ordnance could be in the area so be aware of your surroundings.
****Also note due to training and missions the areas maybe closed at certain days of the week or times. Please check this site for closures in the area before going after the caches on Eglin Reservation. Before entering the Eglin AFB reservation, you must check the current day's Jackson Guard PDF map at http://jg.eglinforcesupport.com/ if the PAM map is down call 882-0007 for range closures
A permit granting you legal access to the Eglin AFB Reservation is required to seek and find ANY cache on Eglin AFB Reservation!!! You must have this permit and it must be in your possession. The Jackson Guard will check. For $20 you get an outstanding map and a year-long Recreational Permit. The yearly permits are valid for one year from the day you buy it and it includes fishing. You can get your permit from the "Jackson Guard" either in person or by mail (send a copy of your driver's license).
