Columbia Township is one of nine townships in Whitley County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 11,047 and it contained 4,799 housing units. According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.73 square miles (95.1 km2), of which 36.71 square miles (95.1 km2) (or 99.95%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km2) (or 0.05%) is water. The streams of Blue Babe Branch, Blue River and Stony Creek run through this township.
