Pe fruntea de deal, în zona destinată pomiculturii şi viticulturii, o casă deosebită se zăreşte în spatele unor butuci golaşi de vie. E datată 1835 şi are arhitectura specifică Olteniei, fiind adusă din Vlădeşti. Treptele şi soclul din piatră, foişorul din lemn şi uşa arcuită de la pivniţă se potrivesc bine sub acoperişul mare.La parter,in soclu este pivnita dispusa sub toata suprafata locuibila.Tot aici este si o ascunzatoare .Traditia locala spune ca aceasta casa ar fii apartinut unui preot si ca ar fi avut o incapere secreta unde se putea refugia, in momentele in care zona era in pericol.Poarta de acces in pivnita are un grilaj de lemn de stejar. Casa se compune din doua incaperi si un foisor.Accesul in camera de zi se face prin foisor si printr-o scara de piatra, dispusa pe peretele sudic al casei.Cele doua camere comunica printr-o usa ,iar cea care nu are acces din exterior este considerata “camera buna”, unde erau primiti oaspetii. Interiorul casei este structurat si mobilat oarecum diferit de specificul Olteniei, prin faptul ca sunt combinate piese lucrate in ateliere rurale cu cele din ateliere urbane.Ferestrele au fost amplasate in asa fel incat sa permita nu numai iluminatul camerei, ci si apararea cu ajutorul armei de foc, in caz de nevoie.Foisorul ,construit in dreptul bucatariei ,peste intrarea in pivnita, este elementul de arhitectura care decoreaza fatada casei. Nascut din nevoia de a oferi posibilitatea locuirii sau odihnirii afara,de a lua masa pe aceasta splendida terasa acoperita ,semideschisa ,foisorul prelungeste practic spatiul casei.Acoperisul este in patru ape, cu invelitore din sindrila de brad, batute la doua randuri . Casa de pe bancnota de 10 lei este chiar gospodăria de pomicultor din muzeul Dumbrăvii...

On the brow of the Hill, in devoted to horticulture and viticulture area, a special House seen behind some golaşi vine stumps. It's dated 1835 and Oltenia, architecture has being brought in Vlădeşti. The House is composed of two rooms and a patio. Access to the lounge is made by turret and a stone staircase , disposed on the southern wall of the House. The two bedrooms communicate through a door, and the one who does not have access from the outside is considered "the good room", where they were receiving guests. The Interior of the House is structured somewhat differently furnished and specifics of Oltenia, due to the fact that I'm bundled pieces worked in rural workshops with those from urban workshops.
