There are two nearby memorial sites that you can visit -

The Armed Forces Plaza comemorates those that served in World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, the Gulf and Middle East Wars, and Women in the Military.
The Gardens of Remembrance is surrounded by a wall of glass panels etched with the names of Suffolk County residents who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
