Parking is available at the Milford boat launch, east of the village on Route 166. The lot is on the north side of the road just after crossing the bridge, if you're going east. And believe it or not, it is still on the north side of the road if you are headed west!
In Scene 7, of the Snakes in a Kayak series, GPS Barb’s husband stares down an anaconda that started to climb into their canoe while GPS Barb was dealing with a problem of her own. Well it appears that the anaconda wisely chose to live another day and relocated south of the Route 166 bridge and has taken up residence between geocaches SR1 and SR2 on the river. He’s a bit more docile since his encounter with Bill and actually quite friendly. So fear not and enjoy this escapee from the SinaK series.
