The Trail along Mullum Mullum Creek has been contructed in stages over many years. Its western end is at the confluence of Mullum Mullum Creek and the Yarra River where it carries on from the end of the Main Yarra Trail. Its eastern end is east of Kalinda Road a trail distance of 20 kilometres. It can be accessed at many places along its length. Its eastern end is on Highland Avenue, Croydon.
This is near the start/end of the last section of the Mullum Mullum trail to be constructed. As you will see it took a lot of work to negotiate with the land owners along the creek on the location of the trail and a major contruction effort to achieve what you see today.
Note that the name of the trail that joins the Mullum Mullum Trail here is wrongly labeled Koonung Creek Trail on the Geocahing web page map. From Springvale Road it is the Eastlink Trail. Thjis cache had to be moved because of proximity issues with a mystery cache.
