Good day class and welcome to lesson 2 of Music 101 with Doctor Professor Goalie. I hope you all found quiz 1 easy enough. I'm sure some of you wish you had done better but don't worry as this is a simple pass or fail class. Now, onto lesson 2. Lesson 2 will be about learning notes! This is something all musicians should know from nearly the beginning for even if you're a percussionist, like me, there are many instruments that require more than simple drum notes. It's actually really easy once you do it enough. We're going to learn the basics, leaving out the more technical stuff.
In Music, you have 2 main staves, Treble Clef and Bass Clef. Each is designated by their image if you will.
Each Clef has the same notes but in different positions. So for example. A D on the Treble Clef will be an F on the Bass Clef.

For Treble Clef a trick people use to remember notes is as follows.
On the line: Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge
In between the lines: FACE
For Bass Clef a trick people use to remember notes is as follows.
On the line: Great Big Dogs Fight Animals
In between the lines: All Cows Eat Grass
The fun part is you can use whatever acronym you want to help you remember the positions of the notes.
Okay, now time for the quiz. As a reminder this is an open book quiz so do your best and if you're going to ask your classmates for help just be courteous and keep your voices to a low whisper.
Quiz: Each note will match its respective letter on the staff. North Cords will be Treble Cleff while West Cords will be Bass Clef. The coordinate will be what position the letter is in the respective staff. Example. If the note is a B on the Bass Clef the coordinate will be 3 as it's the 3rd note in the sequence. The coordinates will be 1 measure each from left to right.
