My house backs up to the East Reservoir. I have enjoyed many hikes around this short (about 1 mile) loop. I got inspired to place geocaches here (four in total) because @dtvman placed two (though he has since archived one to make room for one of mine). You can park your car quite near this hide and then do a loop around the reservoir to bag five caches in a short period of time! Enjoy your hike, enjoy the views, and happy geocaching
This part of the loop is always fun to walk, especially when it's a sunny, hot day and you can grab a little shade.
The original cache was a clear plastic bottle with screw on lid. It was pre-loaded with some fun goodies for children. The replacement is a black plastic jar with a pop top lid. I've placed it there empty, with just the log and the geocaching information sheet. It would be great if people could please bring something to trade; you can fit something around the size of a golf ball. The third container was a small, yellow, screw top lip balm canister. The fourth container is a 35mm film canister.
Congrats to FTF dtvman!
