Geocache Description:


Dulwich Park is a 29 hectare (72 acre) park in Dulwich in the borough of Southwark. The park was created by the Metropolitan Board of Works, The initial design was by Charles Barry, it was later refined by Lt Col Sexby. It was opened in 1890.

 

The park is open from 7:30am till dusk, The park is extremely popular and can be very busy. Parking can be difficult during busy periods, additional parking can be found in the side streets. There are some restaurants and a pub in the village.

Parking - If you wish to park in the park, you will need to pay by phone. There is on street parking around the park.

Best place to park for any length of time is Belair Park up Gallery road.
