G2G – ELEVATOR LINE TO MARTIN
The G2G Rail Trail is a continuous, 127 KM of linear, multi-use green space from the 401 corridor at Guelph, Ontario to the shores of Lake Huron at Goderich, Ontario
G2G has resurfaced much of the trail with stone dust and it has packed down hard. They have trimmed a lot of brush along the sides as well.
We in Huron County are so lucky to have this GEM in our back yard.
This section has a rare bend in the trail. I am working towards Walton. Maybe another eager beaver can carry on east of there or work west from Walton .
The container is a screw-top pill bottle painted black, hanging in an apple tree south of the trail. There is no need to go down any slope. You should be able to reach the cache with one foot still on the trail. If you find any other container not matching that description, please remove it. I thought I had removed the old one when I replaced it, but I guess not. SORRY!
The container has been replaced with a screw top pill bottle. Please roll up log and insert back into it's ring.
Should be an easy grab
Watch for poison ivy. BYOP. Please put the lid back on tight.
