This is a relatively simple two-part multi that includes an interesting history of the area at the starting coordinates, and a walk through a beautiful cemetery to the cache location. Our family lives near these peaceful grounds and enjoy it in all seasons.
Please be respectful to other visitors and park outside the cemetery - either below on Alaska, or above on 205th. While you are at it, check out my daughter's Revelio! cache at the top of the cemetery, and my husband's Abby Normal in the woods to the west. Enjoy the exploration and peace!
To find the cache, reference the plaque at the posted coordinates and complete the following:
A= Count the number of letters in the river name that was paddled up, and subtract one
B= Count the number of letters in the Native American name for Lake Washington, and subtract five
C= Count the number of letters in the type of servant referenced
D= Count the number of letters (as written) of the Native American tribe now gone
Use the above to plug into the below for the final:
N 47° 46.A0B' W 122° 17.0CD'
Check sum: A+B+C+D=28
12/8/20 - Increased difficulty from 2.5 to 3 based on the nature of the final and feedback on time it sometimes took to spot.
