Geocache Description:

Austria and France have always shown a mutual interest. Personally, I love Gustav Mahler's Symphonies, Dominik Thiem's backhand and Gustav Klimt's audacity. Of course, end of the 18th century, beginning of the 19th century, there have been troubles...

I hoped you appreciated the lab caches series  "Merci Pour La Cache"

As you probably guessed, MPLC = TFTC

If you've well worked, you are now able to find the box and sign the logbook.

Thanks for your visit !

For those who prefer not to do it using lab caches, you can do it as a multi using this geochecker

Stage 01:

This was the place to be in the XIXth century, where the Grazer Jet Set could show their dressing.
The name of this way, does not sound very Steierisch, isn't it ?
Let's have a walk there. Head up, please ! You are with the high society :-)
And now, let's accomplish the task.

Combien de lampadaires l'Allée Montclair compte-t-elle ? / Wie viele Laternenpfähle hat das Montclair Allee?

Stage 02:

Ouh là là. La gatronomie française. J'adore ! C'est si délicieux.

Frankowitz is a good French grocery.
If one day French people feel a little bit homesick, we know that Frankowitz can help us.

On the opposite wall, there is a metallic sign about a historical aspect. Complete "Nach ... Richtete"

Stage 03:

Here you can learn French language. http://franceautriche.at/
Previously, it was an official French Institute sponsored by the french state.
French state disengaged in 2005 and is now private.

>Zoom on Herzogshof<

Rather nice from Napoleon not to have destroyed it :-S All is relative....

Wann ist es passiert ?

Here, there is also a massive statue in the honnor of glorious Austrian fighters. Compute (Date#1 + Date#2 + 18) /2 =

Stage 05:

France "visited" Graz in 1809.
Despite it did not leave an excellent souvenir,  a monument was erected in memory of French soldiers who fought and got killed.
Behind the monument there is a text. Complete "A EUX L'..."
