DESCRIPTION
This cache is located along Commerce Street in Hawthorne at the north east corner of a small patch of woods between the Taconic State Parkway and Commerce Street. This is intended to be a quick park and grab for those cruising through or cruising by this area. There is convenient parking off the pavement on grass on Commerce Street just south of GZ. No need to go into the woods, be guided by the hint. Be mindful of the traffic. Although Commerce Street is a 30 mph speed zone, vehicular traffic can come up on you quickly. Not recommended for young children due to the traffic on Commerce Street. Also, please don't park in the driveway of the pump station property just north of the wooded area. BYOP.
There is a trail camera on a tree about 25 ft. west of GZ. It appears to be looking at the pump station building, not at the cache location. But don't mess with it, it has nothing to do with this geocache.
This is my first cache, finally! I've been planning this for a long time, so I'll start off simple. But first, I must thank all of the cache owners whose amazing caches I've found, or didn't find and for teaching me some of the "tricks of the trade" Thank you all!
