Tzova (also Palmach-Tzova) is a kibbutz in central Israel. It's located in the Judean hills on the western outskirts of Mateh yeuda. The nearby Tel Tzova was the was an ancient Jewish settlement, dating back to the days of King David and is mentioned in 1170, when the crusader fortress Belmont is built to guard the route to Jerusalem and was conquered by Saladin in 1191. The Palestinian village of Suba was built on the ruins of Belmont Castle.
