This cache is located in Balleyboley Forest, County Antrim.
If you look at the 1:5000 OSNI, Sheet 9 map, the shape of the forest resembles
a right facing fish, maybe of the tropical variety, hence the name of the cache.
The cache has been placed on the ‘eye’ of the fish.
There are two car parks in the forest and many tracks
making it is a good walking area with a choice of short or medium length circular treks.
The Killylane Reservoir gives the fish a rather watery tail.
Currently there are forestry operations ongoing which tend to degrade the fish shape
but the felled areas have been replanted so fish equilibrium will be maintained in the years to come.
The cache is a medium sized green tube containing a log and a pencil.
