Below the Belmont Castel, which is near Tel-Tzova, is a road named for Danny Mas. The road was built by the Palmach on an ancient path that passes through Oak and Olive trees.
Tel Tzova was an ancient Jewish settelment in days of King David. In 1170 it was mentioned as a location near the Belmont Crusader castle, which was built to gaurd the route to Jerusalem. Belmont was conquered by Saladin in 1191, and the village of Suba was built on its ruins. A kibbutz was established nearby by the Palmach on October 1948.
