Geocache Description:

Gee whiz, we were just trying to make a nice smiley face geoart in a public park with lawn and paved trails when this happened. While we were working with our favorite geoart maker, Geodoodle Pro, all of the sudden-----blink,blink,blinkety blink the power goes out. When it came back on our nice smiley face was gone replaced with some crazy spiral out in the middle of the woods. No problem. Geodoodle Pro makes automatic backups so we'll just restore the smiley face to where it belongs and carry on. But then right in the middle of restoring the smiley face, yup you guessed it, blink-blink-blinkety blink again and now the backup is the crazy spiral so we guess this is what you're going to get. It's OK as most of them are very near a so called road in the forest. A few are near walking paths and most are no more than 500 to 700 feet away from the so called roads. We'll tell you where the roads need an AWD/4WD or high clearance vehicle and where you'll have a longer walk.

We will warn you that whatever map you choose to find these is going to be wrong in many cases. There are roads that don't show on the map and roads on the map that aren't there or don't go through to where the map says depending on what map you're using and there are street signs that are different than what the map shows. There is parking somewhere near each of the caches even if it's just on the side of a road. Try not to park in the middle of a 2 track. You're not the only one out here.

As you're travelling the area you may encounter some "Private Property or "No Trespassing" signs. Having used a map with the exact boundaries we can assure you none of these are on private property nor will you have to cross any. Just follow your geosenses (and GPS) and you'll be fine and try not to get too lost when you find yourself at the corner of Forest Trail and Forest Trail.

You probably don't want to be out here in winter if there's snow and if you're out here in the Fall make sure to wear some orange as there is hunting in this area.

Why smaller caches when this is the perfect place for regular or large? We just got done hauling 41 of those out for another series near here and were a little worn out by that so cut us a little slack wouldja' ?

Need to use the facilites and don't want to answer nature's call out in nature? The only rest room facilities anywhere out here are near On Top of Spaghetti GC769T5.

It will behoove you to load these caches (and any others you'd like to try out here) into your phone or GPS before coming out here as you will find a phone signal difficult to acquire in many places.

While we did use a very accurate device and took an average of at least 20 points on a clear day when we hid these you are out in the woods so no whining about coordinates being off. Some places yielded an accuracy of over 8 meters (24 foot radius) and you're likely to have the same problem due to the tree cover here. Put that darn thing away and just start looking around already. It's nearby, really it is.

When you're out getting the ones that are 500 feet or more out in the woods for goodness sake mark where your vehicle is at. Some of this is dense enough you won't be able to see it until you're close to it. So to make sure you're close to it-----mark where it's at. We don't want to see any messages about "Help! I'm over near GCXXXX and I can't find my car!" On the other hand, if you're the more adventurous type you can camp overnite anywhere in the National Forest after all. Did you bring your tent out to search for the caches?

Original MiGO Cache Patch goes here. If missing, please message the CO
