Welcome (back) to the Old Derby/Historic Indian Trails in Woodbridge. We put our first cache series here in 2010 but decided it was time for a refresh. We’ve redone the originals in this series and added some additional hides since we found more areas to explore. Now, previous finders can revisit this little gem of a trail system. There are some interesting things to see in this forest including ruins, large glacial erratics, old abandoned cars and lots of wildlife. Also, this cache may or may not contain some important information to find the ODT Series - Bonus cache and some containers may have duplicate info for redundancy. You don't have to do these in any specific order but they are numbered progressively from South to North which will make it easier to get the Bonus in the end if you are doing the whole series at one time.
Here is a new little Park 'n' Grab hide at an alternate parking location for 1 or 2 cars on Fountain St. right by the Merritt Parkway. You can grab the Blue trail here which takes you to most of the other hides in the series. Good luck.
