There are lots of beautiful spots in this country park called Byers Woods, which has more fields than woods. All-in-all, this is a great park for hiking, walking dogs, jogging, fishing, riding horses when the trails are dry, playing on new equipment for children, having a picnic under a pavilion, and geocaching. Another nice thing about this park is that there are paved trails which are nice for strollers and wheel chairs, and grass-covered trails for those who like the feel of earth under their feet (especially appreciated by our four-legged friends). New restrooms were installed this summer (2020). Located about fifteen feet off of a grassy trail, the cache is easily accessible.
