This is one of 2 caches we've placed in a favorite area of ours, Old Town Hill. The property is owned by the Trustees of Reservations, is open daily sunrise to sunset and is dog friendly. Parking is roadside along Newman Road. Warning, the mosquitoes can be fierce here and there are greenheads in July and August!
The Trustees of Reservations removed a sign originally used to calculate the final coords for this two part multi cache. In 2013 we placed an object at new given coords to give you that information and have replaced it again in 2022. The final is in a smaller size plastic ammo box that has been moved away from the poison ivy. Previous finders are welcome to refind. This cache is over 20 years old now and we are happy to continue maintaining it. A lot has changed on the hill since we've been coming here. A storm took down all the trees at the top and now that they have been cleared the views are better than ever! Check it out and look for Benchmark MY5282 at the top of the hill!
