Geocache Description:

Welcome to my first traditional cache.

To cheer myself up for my first 100 finds, I decide to place my first geocache - named "Itchy! Itchy! I learned a lesson in a hard way!"

In my 100 finds, many of them involve bush whacking in the woodlots. In the summer, I used to wear a comfy t-shirt and short pants. This is a general dress attire in summer activities, right? In one of my multiple attempts in tackling the multi cache in L’Amoreaux Forest, unknowingly, I might have come in contact with poison ivy or other poisonous plants. As a result, I was suffering from serious skin irritation on my legs. Rashes and swelling developed almost everywhere in about one day... then blisters, burst blister fluids continued... the most uncomfortable was itchy, itchy and itchy all days long - days and nights! I consulted my family doctor, of course. Then I was referred to a dermatologist. I needed medication to help recovery - topical cream and pills for more than 3 weeks. I just learned a lesson in a hard way!

By the way, I earned a free container for placing a cache... i.e. the bright orange pill bottle... :)

My first find... and my first lesson learned in a hard way happened in L'Amoreaux Forest. So, should I place my first CACHE there? Apparently YES! However, the forest had been fully utilized by existing caches in place with no more room for a new cache. As an alternative, I found this small woodlot in Sanwood Park. Most importantly, there was no cache yet. Would it be a golden chance for me?

Here you go, you are welcomed to find this micro, orange but well-camouflaged. The cache holds only a log, so please BYOP! :)

This cache will serve a reminder to myself... Be safe! Be smart! Have a suitable protective dress code for bush whacking in all future adventures.

I hope you enjoy strolling in this lovely woodlot and bush whacking for the cache as I do. Happy geocaching!

*** Beside the cache container, I have prepared two souvenir pins for the first & Second to Find (as a prize). Enjoy! ***
