To find this cache, you must complete the “Manly Dam” Adventure Lab.
The Adventure Lab will take you on a tour of some of the features associated with Manly Dam. You will visit 5 locations, The Mermaid Pool, The Quarry, The Dam, The Memorial, and The Playground. The walk is approximately 1 km from Stage 1 to Stage 5, and another 0.5 km to return to the recommended parking areas.
There are also 3 Traditional caches along the AL route, which also relate to features of Manly Dam, so you may wish to stop off at those along the way (if not previously found).
GC69143 - The Mermaid Pool (near Stage 1 - access track is off King Street, NOT down the creek!)
GC6QB74 - Water Research Laboratory (between Stage 1 & 2 - bring some water for this one)
GC7V428 - Manly Dam Blockhouse (after stage 5 & AL Bonus, on returning to the recommended parking areas)
A total of 9 "finds" are possible with the AL, AL Bonus, and Traditional caches combined.

The final GZ coordinates of this AL Bonus cache will be given after completing the Adventure Lab (in the final journal entry).
NOTE: Access to Stage 3 (The Dam) of the Adventure Lab is from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm (8:30 pm Daylight Saving). The GZ of this AL Bonus cache is available anytime (24/7), but vehicle access to Manly Dam Reserve is as per AL Stage 3.
NOTE: Dogs are NOT permitted in the picnic areas, the internal road, carparks, or the water at any time. You will need to access some of those areas to complete the AL.
Parking: Free parking is available in front of the Manly Hydraulics Laboratory buildings on King Street, and also street parking in King & Arana Streets, so there’s no need to pay for parking within Manly Dam Reserve.
The cache is a camouflaged 800 ml cylindrical metal container. Please replace exactly as found.
