THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED CO-ORDINATES.  YOU MUST SOLVE THE PUZZLE TO GET THE ACTUAL CO-ORDINATES OF THE CACHE

A new subdivision has appeared here recently on former industrial land with excellent views of the river.  Access is via a new roundabout on Main Rd at Austins Ferry, between St. Virgil's School and Gould's Lagoon.  Several stages of this subdivision have opened to the public recently, including public open space.  WIthin a year, the section on the far side of the railway alignment will also open.

At the time of publishing, only the Stage 1 and Stage 2 lots have shown up with titles on TheLIST. However as per the planning documents there is public open space which has been transferred to be a council park as shown below (the bottom section is still being worked on by the developer and is closed to the public).  If you look at this on a satellite map it will look VERY different to how it is on the ground now.  Please see the map below showing the roads.

Once you have figured out the co-ordinates, there are two parking/trailhead locations which have sealed pathways which will avoid inadvertantly trespassing over (currently vacant) lots.  The lower pathway has concrete steps and the upper one is a formed gravel pathway.

The Puzzle

This is (hopefully) a nice easy puzzle and should be suitable for beginners. Sometimes it is hard to resist the temptation to make the puzzles hard and sometimes I get colourful language back about my puzzles.  There are lots of places you could find this info, like my Jaycar Nerd Perks card or various Geocaching Toolbox websites and apps.
