This geocache is a tribute to WE CACHE 365. They were the original cache owners at this location and provided a great geocaching experience for many of my fellow beginners and experienced cachers alike. They gave up this location a couple of years ago to give another geocacher the opportunity to hide a cache here. I loved this little park since finding their cache in 2011 and have been back here a number of times. Most recently, a Boy Scout and his team from Hawthorne Troop 1 replaced the fishing pier as his Eagle Scout project. It is now handicap accessible. Check it out. The trail runs the full circumference around the lake and offers some peace and tranquility along with a park bench about the mid point at the opposite end of the lake. Enjoy!
