Cache is a bison tube in a tree. Bring a pencil.The cache is accessible all year and not far off the established trail.
This is a year round trail - biking and hiking in the warmer seasons and skiing and snowshoeing in the snow. This part of the ski trail is an access point for icefishing at nearby Lost Lake, so walking on this part the trail is permitted! The rest of the posted ski trails are off limits to all but skiers!!
Plenty of parking is available off Morfee Lake Road. This area used to be 3 baseball fields for youth league play, but it is being allowed to return to its natural state. Well, except for one field that is now a no service municipal campground. This parking lot is plowed in winter. When in the area, search for other caches along the trail.
Picnic tables, public washrooms and camping are available nearby in most seasons.
