VILLA SGARAVATTI
Questa serie di cache vi porterà alla scoperta di alcuni luoghi abbandonati di Padova e dintorni.
Purtroppo Padova (e sopratutto la zona termale) presenta alcuni di questi edifici (case, hotel, palazzi, ecc), i quali hanno comunque il loro fascino, perché si sa… tutti almeno una volta nella nostra vita abbiamo desiderato esplorare uno di questi luoghi.
Siamo a Giarre, Abano Terme, una villa maestosa che si lascia ammirare da lontano. Costruita intorno al 1552, di proprietà dei Dondi dell’Orologio, poi dei Wollemborg e infine della famiglia Sgaravatti, che utilizzò parte del terreno per farne un vivaio fino alla fine degli anni ’80. Abbandonata ormai da molto tempo, a causa di tre incendi che la distrussero quasi totalmente dalla seconda metà del ‘900. Un luogo senza tempo che racchiude un pezzo di storia locale e che sarebbe davvero meraviglioso vedere tornare a risplendere in tutta la sua magnificenza.
Tutte le cache si trovano all’esterno degli edifici. **NON STIAMO INVITANDO AD ENTRARE**

ABANDONED PADUA
VILLA SGARAVATTI
This series of caches will take you to discover some abandoned places in Padua and its surroundings.
Unfortunately Padua (and above all the spa area) has some of these buildings (houses, hotels, palaces, etc.), which still have their charm, because you know ... everyone at least once in our life wanted to explore one of these places .
We are in Giarre, Abano Terme, a majestic villa that can be admired from afar. Built around 1552, owned by the Dondi dell’Orologio, then by the Wollemborg and finally by the Sgaravatti family, who used part of the land to make it a nursery until the end of the 1980s. Abandoned for a long time now, due to three fires that almost totally destroyed it in the second half of the 1900s. A timeless place that contains a piece of local history and that it would be truly wonderful to see it return to shine in all its magnificence.
All caches are located outside the buildings. ** WE ARE NOT INVITING YOU TO ENTER **
