This cache is on a new Kenai Refuge multi-use trail completed September 2020. All other Kenai Refuge trails are closed to biking and the trails near the Visitor Center are closed to dog walking. This trail ENCOURAGES dogs (on leash), bikers, and geocachers. Please do not park on Ski Hill Road to grab this cache. Park in one of the three designated parking areas. Recreate responsibly. BYOP.
Geocaching is not usually allowed on a National Wildlife Refuge, but this cache will be placed and closely monitored by Refuge staff, year round.
