This portion of the Contra Costa Canal Trail is more of the scenic part of the trail. Surrounded by old trees and plenty of shade provided as well. Also you will spot out a few of the older homes just off the trail. Definitely a convenient place to live if you enjoy using the trail everyday!
Parking is available in nearby neighborhoods as well as the nearby Heather Farms Park.
