Welcome to my first Multi-Cache.
This is a five stage multi-cache that will take you through L’Amoreaux Forest – the natural generation area and a paved trail along a lovely pond.
The final cache location can be obtained by completing the exercises below at the various stages (Listed as “Additional Waypoints” for your convenience) and using the following coordinate formula:
N43 48.ABC W79 18.DEF
Stage 1: N 43° 48.826 W 079° 18.798
- Dog walkers should obey the Municipal Code. Find the last digit of the code number (= A)
Stage 2: N 43° 48.795 W 079° 18.446 – Multiple tasks here.
- Count the number of dogs (the word) on the 'Notice - Coyotes' sign (= B)
- Count the number of coyotes (the word) on the 'Notice - Coyotes' sign (= D)
- Number of dogs and coyotes (B + D = E)
- Useful phone number for reporting aggressive coyotes, (First digit = C)
Stage 3: N 43° 48.693 W 079° 18.422
- Say 'hi' to ducks & geese when you come here in Spring & Summer.
- While in Winter, will there be any maintenance here? Answer in a numeric value. (= F)
Stage 4: N 43° 48.651 W 079° 18.433
- Nothing to do for the cache location. Smile! Take a picture with the beautiful scenery if you like.
The cache container is a small peanut butter jar that contains a souvenir pin for the First & Second to Find (as a prize), a logbook, a pencil and some swags and trinkets for trading. Cachers must sign the physical log in order to log this multi-cache online.
A Travel Slug Geocoin checks in this small new inn and looks forward to having another adventurous journey ahead.
Have fun strolling this L’Amoreaux North Park!
