This heavily graffitied bridge is painted with many wholesome phrases, which is ironic because the oral history of the bridge is not wholesome. A man named Leroy passed away on this bridge some years ago. The most common story is that he was hung by KKK members as a warning to the community after he spoke to a white woman. His body went missing from the tree next to the bridge overnight. The other story is that he simply fell in and drowned. This may seem weird if you're looking at how low the creek below typically is. But it floods quite often, being in the valley in all. People have reported a high amount of paranormal activity. I wouldn't recommend coming at night for safety reasons (being on a bridge and a road).
The cache was previously reported to be missing, but I found that it was still there. There are now two caches at the spot. Feel free to sign one or both.
