När du besöker stegen i Täby Viking Messages får du ta del av några av de meddelanden som Jarlabanke Ingefastsson och hans släktingar har lämnat till eftervärlden - och därmed oss. Området kring Vallentunasjön är världens runristningstätaste område. Flera av runstenarna och ristningarna på hällar är ristade på initiativ av just Jarlabanke. Han var en av få som lät resa runstenar med sig själv i fokus redan under sin livstid, ofta som ett sätt att markera sin egna makt. Jarlabanke kom från en inflytelserik släkt och under hans levnad stärktes greppet om området ytterligare. Bland annat hävdade Jarlabanke (på flera av runstenarna) att han "ägde hela Täby".

This is a bonus cache for the Lab Cache (ALC) Täby Viking Messages.
As you visit the locations of Täby Viking Messages you can see some of the messages which Jarlabanke Ingefastsson and his relatives have left for the generations to come - and thus us. The area around Vallentunasjön is the most dense in the world when it comes to runic carvings. Several of the runic stones and rocks are carved after initiative by the said Jarlabanke. He was one of few who had runic stones erected with focus on himself during his lifetime, often as a means to mark his own power. Jarlabanke was from an influential family and during his lifetime the grip on this area was further enhanced. Among other things, Jarlabanke claimed (on several runic stones) that he "owned the whole of Täby".
