Poquoson is Native American for "Great Marsh." That helps to explain the pterodactyl sized mosquitoes that swarm the community year-round! Poquoson is also known for the annual Seafood Festival, complete with work-boat races, music bands, craft stands and a variety of local foods, all celebrating Poquoson's heritage.
This is an easy cache located along Wythe Creek Road as you enter the City of Poquoson. There is plenty of nearby parking, making for a quick find. But be mindful of the traffic on Wythe Creek Road and the prying eyes of muggles passing by. BYOP - too small for TBs but pathtags OKs.
Daytime only cache! Definitely suggest avoiding peak traffic times.
