#1 Yak's All Folks!!! - GC90BWB
Rough River Lake is a 5,100-acre reservoir in Breckinridge, Grayson, and Hardin counties in Kentucky. It was impounded from the Rough River in 1959 by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Rough River Lake Dam is a 132-foot-high earthen dam impounding a maximum capacity of 334,400 acre-feet. It is the primary attraction of Rough River Dam State Resort Park.
The areas we have utilized are part of the Blue Ways Trails designed and promoted for use by kayakers.. After some back and forth discussion, the USACE agreed to allow us a limited number of geocache hides to bring even more paddlers to the area..
The hides are mixed between limbs and roots with a few of our favorites, BMO (Bend Me Over) and PMD (Pull Me Down) hides, plus a couple more creative hides.. You will have to exit the yak for a few of the hides, but these areas should be fairly easy to get in and out..
