Welcome to the Oxford Run Canal Trail! The trail offers a 1.5 mile stroll along the scenic Oxford Run Canal and a small detour along a water retention pond. This trail is known for its deer, turtles, small fish, an occasional water snake and the enormous mosquitoes that thrive in the Poquoson area.
This is the second of five caches along the trail. The cache is within 6 feet of the walking trail, so absolutely no bushwacking required. While searching, you're likely to encounter joggers, various pets out walking their masters or a family out for some exercise while enjoying all Nature has to offer. So be ever mindful of potential muggles! In the warm months, also be aware of potential chiggers and ticks.
This cache is large enough only for log. BYOP. Please return the cache as found so future cachers can equally enjoy the search and adventure.
