Geocache Description:

  Welcome to the Oxford Run Canal Trail! The trail offers a 1.5 mile stroll along the scenic Oxford Run Canal and a small detour along a water retention pond. This trail is known for its deer, turtles, small fish, an occasional water snake and the enormous mosquitoes that thrive in the Poquoson area.

  This is the last of five caches (or if you elect to go in reverse order, the first of five) along the trail. The cache is not at the posted coordinates.  Instead, the posted coordinates will lead you to a metal "Benchmark" placard near a bridge.  Using the infomation engraved on the placard, you must solve for the final cache coordinates.

    This cache is large enough only for a log. BYOP. Please return the cache as found so future cachers can equally enjoy the search and adventure.

    Hope you enjoy this cache and the other caches in the Poquoson community.

Base coordinates are: N 37-07.ABC  W 076-23.DEF.

  With Z equal to the number of letters in the name of the city engraved on the metal benchmark placard:

  A = (Z minus 7)

  B = (Z divided by 2)

  C = (A + B) + 2

With Y equal to the number engraved near the middle of the metal Benchmark placard:

  D = (Y times 2)

  E = (Y minus 2)

  F = (Y times 3)
