Lon Eifion is a 12.5 mile cycle/walking path which is part of Lon Las Cymru, route number 8 on the National Cycle Network and as shown on OS maps. This scenic route from Caernarfon to Bryncir starts near Caernarfon Castle running alongside the Welsh Highland Railway to Dinas, from here it follows a disused railway to Bryncir through beautiful countryside with wonderful views of Caernarfon Bay and Snowdonia. The route is 100% tarmaced and a traffic-free route climbing 152m (500ft) over 10 miles to its highest point.
A nice spot to admire the view of Mynydd Graig Goch and the start of the Nantlle ridge. The cache is within 1.5 meters of the track, no need to venture into the foliage.

Mae'r llwybr hwn o Gaernarfon i Fryncir yn cychwyn ger Castell Caernarfon sy'n rhedeg ochr yn ochr â Rheilffordd Ucheldir Cymru i Ddinas, ac oddi yma mae'n dilyn yr hen reilffordd i Fryncir trwy gefn gwlad hardd gyda golygfeydd hyfryd o Fae Caernarfon ac Eryri. Mae'r llwybr wedi'i darmacio i gyd ac mae'r llwybr heb draffig yn dringo 152m (500 troedfedd) dros 10 milltir i'w bwynt uchaf. Man braf i edmygu golygfa Mynydd Graig Goch a dechrau crib Nantlle. Mae'r geocache o fewn 1.5 metr i'r trac, nid oes angen mentro i'r planhigion.
