This is a reincarnation of the original placement from back in late 2014.
There are 79 burials here, ranging from 1902 to 2011, although the historical marker at this location states that the first interment took place in 1898. Members of the Hutson, Roberts, Simpson, and Teague families are laid to rest here, among sundry others, including a Bassford, whose family name is sometimes used to refer to the site at Texas Spirit Quest #52: Dittmar Cemetery.
To reach this cemetery, look for a faint dirt road leading up a hill from the northbound stretch of Creeks Edge Parkway, just north of its intersection with Cliffs Edge Drive. You should NOT attempt to go beyond the closed gate with a No Trespassing sign, but from there, you can see the fence surrounding the actual site further up the hill. As well, please do NOT visit during the night, as several backyards are adjacent to this location and the local dogs will be vocal in their displeasure at your presence.
