Geocache Description:

EN: Every year on the 5th of November, Roma in Europe celebrate the International Romani Language Day.
Spoken throughout the world, Romani is the language of Roma, a language preserved and sent on from generation to generation over the centuries mainly in its oral form.
Celebrating that day, a sculpture named “November 5th” by the author Marin Marinić, was unveiled in the eponymous park in Zagreb.
The sculpture depicts a female figure, a young and courageous Roma woman, who has historically been the central figure of the Roma family. This enchanting dance of a young Roma woman is an example of people who are constantly on the move.
This is the first Roma monument in honor of Roma culture and literacy erected in Croatia after more than 700 years of Roma living in this area.
